Marie Curie Monitoring Action and Information Days – Barcelona 2010
9th, 10th and 11th June 2010 Barcelona
The event will combine monitoring of Marie Curie projects, exchange of views and experiences between Spanish projects and the Projects Officers from the Research Executive Agency, responsible for the implementation of the FP7 People Programme. In addition specific information sessions will be organized by the Spanish National Contact Point for the PEOPLE Programme.
The aim of the monitoring mission is to meet the beneficiaries and the fellow researchers of the Marie Curie Actions to learn about the progress of these projects and to hear about successes and problems.
The programme will consist of a series of talks by the beneficiaries who are asked to cover the following aspects of their grant agreements:
• The broad science background
• Experiences of managerial, recruitment and training aspects of the programme
• Major achievements
• Best practices and problems
In addition, a series of poster sessions and oral presentations will be organized. The poster session and the oral presentations aim at giving the members of the monitoring team an opportunity to meet the fellow researchers on an informal basis and provide an insight into the degree of success of these Marie Curie Actions.
Concurrent with the monitoring activities, a number of information sessions on the Marie Curie Actions will be held. These sessions aim at presenting the life of a proposal from the application stage to the grant agreement signature and the project lifecycle, as well as covering managerial, legal and financial aspects of the Marie Curie grant agreements with ample opportunity for question and answer exchange. Project coordinators may wish to be accompanied by their administrative officer who may benefit through direct contact with the REA Project Officers. Furthermore, there will be also an opportunity to discuss with the Spanish National Contact Point the work programme 2011 and the Spanish strategy in the People Programme.
The information sessions also include:
